Crystal Lake Cowl

Crystal Lake Cowl
Crystal Lake is a quick and easy cowl with simple colorwork that uses only one color per row. And it’s only a 4 st repeat that you’ll memorize in no time! Picture it with a color changing or gradient yarn for the contrast color against a strongly contrasting background.
The asymmetrical cowl is worked sideways from end to end, with increases only on the neck edge. The cowl is seamed at the back neck to allow for easy blocking of the fabric and for easy wearing too.
Crystal Lake Cowl is a great way to use up stash and leftover yarn and looks best in a yarn that is smooth and even with same texture for both the main and contrasting colors.
The pattern is written for fingering or sport weight yarn but can be made in any yarn weight. Size and yarn usage will vary with differences in gauge and yarn choices.
The instructions are both written and charted and the pattern has been professionally tech edited and tested.
Pattern is available in Knit Companion or will be soon.
